Beer Garden Vibes & Secret Garden Celebrations
Enjoy Kilkenny’s best outdoor spaces at Sullivan’s Taproom. Our vibrant Beer Garden is dog-friendly, family-friendly, and perfect year-round with heated pods, sun-soaked seating, and big screen TVs. For private celebrations, step into the Secret Garden — a dedicated event space for up to 100 guests with live music, great food, and warm hospitality.
WHAT’S ON TAP
Maltings Red Ale
The first beer from the revived Sullivan’s Brewing Company is Maltings Irish Red Ale. A refreshingly balanced, ruby tinted classic Irish ale with a depth of malt flavour consisting of rich biscuit and gentle caramel notes. Traditionally brewed with only Kilkenny-grown malt, including three special darker malts and three hop varieties.
Fermented and matured with cask ale yeast coupled with our no-rush brewing to produce a smooth, balanced classic red ale.
Sullivan’s Irish Gold Ale
Next up is the Irish Gold. Traditionally Brewed With Lightly Roasted Cara Malt And Finished With First Gold Aroma Hops. As lagers were brewed in the 1800’s, this is a traditional kettle-hopped Golden Ale with early & late hop additions for a clean, citrus finish and a rich, copper gold colour.
Brewed by a true master, the beauty of this ale lies in its balance, session-ability and subtle apricot & tangerine finish.
Black Marble Stout
Completing the Sullivan’s line up is the Black Marble Stout. A full-flavoured traditional Irish stout using roast coffee, with fruit notes balanced by delicious hop bitterness. A dark, deep stout with a rich tan foam and aromas of roast coffee notes with a fruit and hop background.
Expect generous malt and coffee notes balanced by a delicious hop bitterness.

Flavours to Satisfy Every Craving
Pair award-winning craft beers with a menu full of flavour at Sullivan’s Taproom, available seven days a week. Enjoy handmade pizzas, burgers, wings, and more, with specials like Wing Wednesday and monthly pizza creations. Our food menu runs until 9 pm, kids’ menu until 8pm, and function menus are available for groups of 18 or more.
