Savour Kilkenny at Sullivan’s

Sullivan’s Taproom is getting involved in Savour Kilkenny 2026 with a packed programme of tastings, tours, live music and special events taking place across the October Bank Holiday weekend.

From brewery experiences and Irish craft beer to wine, whiskey and live rock ’n’ roll, there’s plenty happening across Sullivan’s Taproom, the Brewery and Secret Garden from Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th October.

Brewery Bites & Tasting

Hosted by Kilkenny Food Tours, Brewery Bites & Tasting combines local flavours with the story and beers of Sullivan’s. Two intimate sessions will take place on Thursday evening at 5pm and 7pm, with just 25 places available at each.

Sullivan’s Signature Tour

Experience over 323 years of Kilkenny brewing heritage on our Sullivan’s Signature Tour. Led by your Brewing Seanchaí, this 30-minute experience brings the past, present and future of brewing in Kilkenny to life through storytelling, history and, of course, beer.

Each tour includes one half pint of Sullivan’s beer, with 25 places available per session.

Wine Fair

Hosted by The Wine Centre, our Savour Kilkenny Wine Fair will showcase an incredible selection of wines from around the world.

Irish wine distributors and representatives from directly imported wineries, including Lagar de Moha, will be on hand to guide guests through the wines and share the stories behind the producers.

With more than 60 wines open for tasting, it’s a brilliant opportunity to discover new favourites, explore different regions and styles, and chat to the people who know them best. Three sessions will take place across Friday and Saturday, with 35 places available at each.

Whiskey Fair

Sunday turns to whiskey, with a special tasting event featuring some of Ireland’s most exciting distilleries, including Dingle, Two Shores, Clonakilty, Lough Ree, Teeling and more.

Meet the people behind the brands, learn about how the whiskeys are produced and discover the stories behind each distillery while tasting a wide range of styles and expressions. Whether you know your whiskey inside out or are only starting to explore it, this is a relaxed way to discover something new.

Oracle Villa – Live

We’re rounding off the Savour Kilkenny weekend with live music from Oracle Villa, an original rock ’n’ roll band from Kilkenny.

Their own description probably says it best: a Stratocaster getting thrown around in the back of a Ford Fiesta in 1995.

Expect a loud, lively finish to the Bank Holiday weekend in the Secret Garden.

Across five days we’ll be hosting 11 individual events, bringing together beer, food, wine, whiskey, local producers and live music right in the heart of Kilkenny.
